All pins like this (4 pin, 6 pin, 8 pin) will only fit one way (unless you're a brute).
Have a good look at the shapes on the ends and confirm they are IDENTICAL to that on the motherboard.
Personally, the PSU you have sounds under-built and a potential problem. You may want to consider replacing it.
I've never seen 2 pin plugs on a modern power supply other than the 6+2 pins for the video card.

No the plug ins are 2x2 and I have two of them. If I plug both of them into a 2x4 plug in will it work? I could not find the maker of the PSU because I originally bought the computer from cyberpower pc and the only thing that I still have in it is the hard drive and the PSU. But the PSU is not stated on who built it.
