Quick question, would buying another 4gb rx 580 be worth it, or should I sell my old rx 580 and get a faster new gpu?

Sell it and get the better single GPU as multi GPU support is pretty poor nowadays not to mention the increased heat and power consumption.

Agreed, crossfire causes more issues than actual FPS increase.

For 1080p the 480 should be pretty good unless you mind turning settings down.
