Question Two different readings for my RAM

I'm getting two different readings for my ram. Command prompt tells me it's running at 3000mhz whereas task manager tells me the ram is running at 1500mhz. which one do i go with.
(I'm running two 8gb ddr4 3000mhz sticks)

The 1500MHz reading is probably due to the RAM being Double Data Rate (DDR). The true speed is 1500 MHz, but its effective speed (throughput equivalency) is 3000 MHz.
One app reads true and one reads effective.

Check with CPU-Z (memory section). Multiply value shown there with 2.

So i downloaded CPUZ and the readings are
Nb Freq: 1499.1mhz
Dram Freq: 1499.1mhz
Since you said to multiply by 2 does that mean my system is running at 2998.2mhz (or 3kmhz roughly)?
