Question Two Steam Games Crashing on Startup

I am having issues with two games in my steam library. Tekken 7 and Black Ops 3. To start with Tekken, I have never been able to play this game. It crashes on launch every time. Black Ops 3 I have had for a while and put 60+ hours into the game. All of a sudden, it now starts to crash on launch with the addition of asking me if I would like to start the game in safe mode. Hitting either yes or no provides the same result: instant crash. The number of times I've verified game files, made exceptions in my antivirus, uninstalled/reinstalled the games, scanned windows files in the cmd is insane. Upon locating and analyzing the crash .dmp files for both games, this is what I have found.

Tekken 7 gives me: FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: INVALID_POINTER_READ_c0000005_pid.dll!PID_EffectOperation

Black Ops 3 gives me: SOFTWARE_NX_FAULT_c0000005_blackops3.exe!unknown_error_in_process

run sfc /scannow to repair windows (if its corrupt)
rescan your games through steam to redownload corrupted game files (if any)

I completed all steps and it did not work. It may be worth noting that Black Ops 3 would work when I start windows in safe mode. Tekken however, does not work in safe mode.
