[SOLVED] Typical backup time for a 2000va UPS?

I am going to buy a 2000va UPS aka 1200w for my PC (RTX 3070 + Ryzen 5600x) about 520w total with my TV, PSU of my PC is a Seasonic 650w
The website of the model I am checking is saying:
25% Load - 13 min
50% Load - 4 min
75% Load - 1 min
100% Load - <1 min

Is this normal for an average UPS or it's weak?
I tried my PC on a 1500va supposedly 900w from another brand but the ups couldn't even stand 1 second!!

A 2000VA UPS is usually pretty expensive from a quality provider like APC or Eaton.
You might look for a used commercial unit. Get it shipped without batteries and buy new batteries. That is how I purchased all my APC units from E-Bay.

Yeah. That tells you everything you need to know about the Keen 2000, IMO. Four min at 600W. If you look at an APC (the only brand I have), something like this -- https://www.apc.com/shop/us/en/prod...r-LCD-230V-with-SmartConnect-Port/P-SMT2200IC
It has a 45 min runtime with 600W.
I will stick with my recommendation of buying a used commercial UPS and buying replacement batteries.

I'll second the buying of a used industrial type UPS--especially as they are nearly free after every dotcom bust. Only I would suggest locally if possible as the big ones are too heavy to ship except via truck freight so have little resale value except to local metal scrappers

The small APC 2200va is rated 7 minutes at maximum load of 1980w with the original batteries. With car batteries instead the runtime is at least 5x as long or about 35 minutes at 1980w (~3hrs 45min at 600w), and I can verify this doesn't have any thermal shutdown problems, likely because this APC uses fan cooling which only turns on when running off battery.

About the only minuses are the 77w idle power consumption and low efficiency below 50% at very low loads, to be expected because it does use a big heavy transformer instead of a SMPS
