Uhh GT 630 detected but not working? (0% usage)

I dont exactly know why or when this started to happen,one day i was cleaning my pc,after that i plug in everything and the monitor to the VGA port,i hear my VGA at bootup but suddenly stops when windows showed up.I try to play some games,i was confused why is my framerate lower than before? So i try to play another game to test it out,and im using MSI Afterburner to see my gpu usage and framerate,turns out the game doesnt use my VGA at all. What is happening? I need help


I know GT 630 is not used for gaming but im just a 15 yo student,and that card was all i can afford

Have you plugged the monitor into the GT630 directly? (not the motherboard).

yes by i mean the VGA port its the GT 630 port

Do you also have the monitor connected to the motherboard? As the only way it couldnt be using the GT630 would be if it was plugged into the on board graphics.

nope,i only plug in my monitor to my GT 630

Doesn't make sense that your monitor isn't using the GT 630 when the monitor is connected to it and you're getting a signal on the screen. I guess that's why you've had no further replies, we're all mystified.

uhh and i got the "monitor not displaying" problem too,so i had to fix it by removing the cmos for a couple of minutes and put it back in,which restore the BIOS settings to its default,does it has something to do with that?
