[SOLVED] Ultra M.2 NVMe vs Sata SSD for gaming?

I'm wondering if it would be better to use an NVMe SSD or a standard Sata SSD to run games off of on this motherboard.

The confusing this is the Asrock Ultra M.2 socket. I've heard that this "Ultra" feature may somehow gimp your GPU as it uses some of the PCI express lanes? Or is that wrong?
Also, I've heard NVMe SDDs can get very hot and even throttle? Maybe they are not good for gaming?

I was thinking of either just getting an SSD to put games on, or a larger NVMe SSD and running games and Windows off of that too.

Thanks.
