Question Ultra-wide monitor with r9 270x

Hello everyone,

As I'm quite a noob at this, I would like to make sure I don't screw up..

I just got a AOC Agon AG352UCG6 monitor that is 3440x1440 at 120hz and have an Asus R9 270x gpu.

I would like to know which DisplayPort does my card support and would it be good enough to run it at 3440x1440 at 120hz as it only allows me to run it at 50hz (Using a hdmi cable btw)

As long as you use a DisplayPort 1.4 cable it will be back compatible with whatever speed your output is. I am guessing you have a DP 1.2a port on your graphics card and that should be enough to run the monitor at 100-110Hz.

MSI's card specs are a little more descriptive. Should be the same as your Asus card:
