um - how do you use the climbing gloves?

It may be painfully obvious -but I don't see how to select and/or use the
climbing gloves. I just bought them at the Docks.

Just jump up on the wall. I find it hard to get used to the automatic use of
items in Thief😀S. if you have the key the door opens, if not you have to
lockpick, if you have the gloves you can climb walls, if you get a letter
you don't get to read it, you get a "note", if you have the item needed the
frob works - no need to select it... I'm not so sure I like this
feature.....

What?!

That's a really good feature!

In future games garrat should automatically run through the level performing
all the acts of thievery for you. Just think! All we'd have to do would be
to sit and watch as the game completes itself.

But the upside is that the game would probably be cheaper, as we would get
something close to a movie. No need to use lots of time programming for user
input ;-)
