I think my evga 8800 GTX fan died. So, i am using my on-board Graphics on my Dell Optiplex 755 MT (Yes, I put a double bracket GPU in a dell optiplex). I turned my PC on a few minutes ago, and my computer boots up normally at the dell boot screen, then after the boot screen, my computer made an odd buzzer like noise, and when that happened, my computer screen glitched for a split-second and then went black. So i turned It off and took the cover off and started it again, I saw that my GPU fan was not spinning. So I turned it off, took it out. Then I looked for my backup GT 610. I could not find it so I used my on-board Graphics. My computer booted fine. Is my GPU fan dead? My dad says my graphics card might be not in the PCI-E port on the board, so I am going to try that now.

The Card is definitely getting power, or no display would be on the screen (the dell boot screen) The cable is in, I checked that, I think the motor died, I looked at it, and it just wiggles when the PC turns on, like its trying to spin. Should I try to buy a new fan?

Ok, I will try. Ok I just did that and the fan I have does not fit the plug, it is a 4 pin small plug. I have a 3 pin big plug.
