OK, kind of a long story, but here goes: I just got dual wd800jb's up and running on my Abit kx7. Well, I over clocked it a bit (so my xp1900 had a fsb of like 136-137). Well there was this huge lan that I went to and the array failed. It took me out of the game for about 6 hours trying to get things back up and I did. Now (i think)one of them makes a grinding "I am going to fail" noises. It is hard to tell with fan noise, but maybe it is just my system making that noise. So my questions: Do you think it was the oc'ing that did the array in? Also, what are the chances that this drive will fail and should I just rma it back to newegg?
Oh one other thing, at one point in this lan, my mobo decided no to disply anything, so I couldn't tell if it was booting, but when I got home it worked just fine. What would cause something like that. I think that maybe the cmos jumper was loose or something. what do you think?
Thanks once again!

ok well this may be helpful and I will post some pics sometime, but files system benchmark for stripped wd800jb beats a 15k rpm u160 scsi, by about 2mb/s. If I remember, I got like 34-35 mb/s transfer. For the record, it loads the largest q3 map i know of with 16 bots in about 5 seconds. Now is that pretty good perfromance?
