Recently I installed the program LimeWire, found at LimeWire.com. It is a P2P file sharing program based on Java. Anyways, while installing it, I encountered an error and was forced to abort the operation. What I found out after the fact is that it had created it's directory, but I cannot do ANYTHING with it! I cannot delete it (when I try to, it says the directory is not empty...even though no files, hidden or not, are in it). I cannot rename it, move it, and so forth. Officially, it shouldn't even exist on my hard drive. It's size (on disk) is zero bytes. It has no "Accessed" or "Modified" fields at all. I have tried to open the file in Edit, and has come up with the only clue thus far: it's location should be "C:\program files\LimeWire ", space included afterwards. I have tried removing it through virtual DOS, by typing in "del "c:\program files\LimeWire"", and then again with the space. I have done every possible thing I can think of, all without working. If you guys have any advice on how to remove this pug of a file, it would be most welcome at this point.
Thanks Again,
-Matt
Addendum - If anyone would like pics of this phenomenon, I would be more than happen to get screen captures and email them in jpeg form.
 Have you ever tried cooking an egg on your HSF? Tasty.
