Question Unable to Access BIOS After Potential Activation of Fast Boot on Windows 11

I recently made adjustments to BIOS settings on my MSI H610M motherboard, which resulted in an inability to access the BIOS. The system now boots directly into Windows 11 without offering any opportunity to enter the BIOS setup or access the Advanced Startup options.

Despite attempting a BIOS reset, the issue persists, as the computer powers on but shows no display when trying to access the BIOS or advanced settings.

Settings/System/Recovery/Advanced Startup
And after restart you'll get booted right into BIOS.

I'm guessing you've held your finger down on the 'Del' key and kept it there before starting the computer from a completely powered off state (no mains)?

As a last resort, unplug the Windows drive, make your BIOS changes, then shut down and reconnect the Windows drive. It's not an elegant solution and doesn't disable Fast Start, but might be sufficient.

I disable Fast Start and remove hiberfil.sys from all my computer builds and even on my laptops. It messes up multi-boot systems containing more than one OS. I don't care if Windows takes longer to start up.
