guys, here is my setup.
Abit NF7-S ver 2.0
AMD AthlonXP +1700
256MB Geil DDR400 x 2
120GB Seagate SATA150 (SATA1)
20GB Maxtor(IDE1 - Slave)
LiteOn 481224 CDRW (IDE2 - Master)
LiteOn 16x DVD (IDE2 - Slave)
The problem now is. I have a new Maxtor 80GB HDD 7,200/8Mb Buffer. When I plug it into IDE1 - Master. Bios detects it, But it wouldn't load into Windows. It's either it says "BOOT NOT FOUND, INSERT BOOT DISK OR blah blah blah" or windows will prompt some error about boot devices. I don't think that the 80GB is malfunctioning because it can be detected. I think there is a problem with the boot device. However the 80GB is in RAW format, means doesn't have any file format or partitioned in any way.
I book from my SATA drive(WinXP) which is D:
and the 20GB is C:
I have set my first book device in BIOS as SerialATA by the way. But it still doesn't boot.
Did anyone encounter any problem with this?
Any solution? I'm going crazy.
