i’m hoping so! they assumed it was corrupted windows install but contacted them again so should hear from them tomorrow, will update with what they say too

Since you can get into the BIOS have you looked through each tab and checked that all of your parts are showing up and are properly identified? Check through your RAM settings, voltage, speed and timings to make sure they are correct.

yea, i checked through all of my bios, was one of the first things i checked to make sure one of the parts hadn’t bricked or disconnected but as far as i’m aware everything is as it should be

And you double checked the wiring from your power supply to the motherboard?

yeah it’s hella secure, check it regularly since i have custom cable extensions

My guess is if Asus customer support can not help you get the PC running properly they will offer to RMA your motherboard.

hopefully, going to try memtest tomorrow and hopefully hear from them, just tried to boot from a different usb with rufus install on and no luck

Although it should not matter, have you tried using different USB ports?

i’ve tried removing all my drives and booting just with the install usb and that crashes too

What does that mean "it crashes"?

the windows logo appears and the “loading circle” will start to spin then freeze and not move until the pc is restarted with the boot usb i press the boot drive in bios, it proceeds to boot then instantly freezes once the loading process begins

yes, tried usb 2.0/3.0 and front panel io

When you say it freezes, how long are you waiting? Many times i think an install has frozen but it's just taking a very long time to complete.

like indefinitely, it will stay frozen for like over an hour and if it doesn’t freeze then it just infinitely loads for about 10 minutes before auto rebooting

heard back from them, they just said to contact the seller and get a replacement, seller doesn’t want to give me a replacement so kinda stuck

That is unfortunate, but given you can get into the BIOS and everything appears normal, there is no indication anything is wrong with the motherboard.

Have you tried booting with your Windows boot drive in both M.2 sockets? M.2_1 connects directly to the CPU, M.2_2 connects to the B550 chipset.

While the PC was working did you ever check the health of your drives with Samsung Magician?

i did! both perfect health but i’m sure it’s not a drive issue as the issue persists with no drives connected

Are you trying to install Windows to a Sata drive?

put the iso usb drive on and start system and look in bios if it is detect as a bootable device this is first step .

Did you get a chance to run memtest86 again?
