i can not delet raid 0 from software on the win 10
and i cant enter to rst bios by ctrl + i no thing happen when i hit it
if i instal new os win 10 with out delet the raid whats gona happen ?

Solution
i asked for help and no one noticed. So instead of me wasting your time trying to work out why bios can see drive but windows refuses to, post this question on http://www.tenforums.com/installation-setup/ and show them the screen shots, can link to here if you want. I never used raid, I knew enough about it know i didn't want it. Let me know how you get on :)

oh its laptop i never open one in my live whats gona happen if i just installed new win 10 will i lose the hhd or just instal it as new volume from storage manager

the only reason I suggests removing hdd is cause win 10 has a habit of putting its boot information on the 2nd drive. If you leave it in, nothing bad will happen except this could. Its just annoying as if hdd later dies, win 10 won't boot.

You probably need to do a custom install and delete that 244gb drive it made. Then choose a partition on the ssd and go from there. If win 7 was on SSD originally, Win 10 may want to wipe entire ssd before it will install.

iam not sure i understand all what you say so my laptop acer Predator G9-592 come with win 10 single lang
in ssd (c driver ) and hhd 1 tb

i have no problem if i erase all data as long as i get my 1 tb again

the storge i got after raid 0 done its 118 g as (c drive ) and 119g unallocted

so again
what i will do right now
1-instal (win 7 or 10 i have both ) and make (windows.old) cus i cant get usb boot in UEFI only usb boot in legacy witch ask me to change disk GPT to MBR
2- after the win instaled i will get 118 g as c and unllocted 1tb hhd so i can make new simple volume and all good
iam sry for my bad english and thx for your help and your time

if i just extract iso i can start installing windows and make old one in (windows.old ) file this method cant solve the problem ?

what about the rest of my question if you have time
2- after the win instaled i will get 118 g as c and unllocted 1tb hhd so i can make new simple volume and all good

ay win 10 on ssd

if i run win 7 setup instal and choose c disk ask me to make (windows.old) file

i just afraid that after win installation finish i will not find my hhd as 1tb but as 119 giga

if you choose custom and delete all the partitions on all drives, it shouldn't have any record of RAID. I suspect he used IRST to set it up in software, lucky he didn't try to make the 199gb drive a cache drive, another feature irst has.

sry for that can you just tell what to do as steps (just main steps ) so i can follow it thx again

ok i was able to boot from usb now i find this look i have only 119 giga hdd where the rest?

Good question about the 932gb

I don't think you need to reinstall win 10, its up to you. All you need to do is make a partition out of the remaining 119gfb of unallocated space at end that was part of the raid.

Still need to figure out why hdd has gone into hiding. go back into Windows 10
right click "This PC" on desktop
choose manage
in next window, in left column, choose disk management
expand window so you can see middle column
share screen shot of that.

should i go ahead format the 118 ssd and start installation ?

No, see my previous post. Win 10 seems fine, your brother made raid out of the spare space on drives.

XD nvm

the number in arabic indian
if u need to read it give me less than 30 min so i download english interface
btw the remaind space hidden i dont know where Y_Y

i can tell just by looking at the boxes, the 1tb hdd has gone missing. its only showing your SSD.

I assume the black square says unallocated and is 119.2gb. you should be able to right click it and create a new partition out of it and then format it so win 10 can use it.

I wonder what it is I don't know about raid that made the other drive to disappear. I might have to ask advice on this...

what have we done anyway? Haven't we just been looking so far? the hdd shows in irst but not in disk management. I feel I should go to sleep and look at this with a clear brain (I been awake all night)

ok around 50 giga enough for new win should i do that and try instal win it it and see what will happen ?

:)) i have send the laptop to suport team tthay just creat simple volume (119 gb ) and send the laptop back to me as thay solve the issue XD
so i have to silf repare or send it back to usa

i just make 2 separate volume 70 and 50 giga
should i start or just wait?

ok thx so much for your time and your help get some rest :)

Did you change boot order to boot from USB? We didn't do anything otherwise?, I don't get why the 1tb drive isn't showing anywhere. I think its absence is tied into the Intel software.

Does it still show a raid running in the intel software?

1.) Delete your RAID-0 setup in RAID BIOS.
2.) Reboot into BIOS and change SATA mode to AHCI.
3.) Shut down computer.
4.) Disconnect 1 HDD.
5.) Install Windows (Windows will automatically format the drive during installation).
6.) Shut down computer and connect 2nd HDD.
7.) Boot into Windows, go to Disk Management, initialize 2nd HDD, Quick Format it, and assign it a drive letter.

follow steps in answer 2 and see what mode your ssd is running in: http://superuser.com/questions/757936/check-if-my-ssd-in-runing-on-ahci-mode-inside-windows-7
