Windows 10 started using DCH drivers a few updates ago so if you have a DCH driver then it will not allow you to install the older Standard driver.

ive tried that, didnt work, the driver i have right now is microsoft basic display adapterYoumight need to use DDU to completely uninstall your graphics drivers, then reboot and then re-intall them.
