Hello everyone
I have very strange situation
I want to update my Nikon 5200 firmware
To do so I need to take out the sd card and put the firmware using my laptop
The problem is that my laptop won't show the sd card in my computer it will make the sound etc
Found that the card is formatted in MBR so if I convert it to got I will be able to see it and open it but in that case when I insert it back to the camera it will need again to format it back to MBR
I HAVE D5200 AND D3400 both are acting the same
Does any one have an idea how can I open the sd card in my laptop without formatting (windows 11)
Thanks

Emulate Win10 or Win7.

Win11 doesn't support MBR as system disk, only GPT. But it should support MBR as secondary disk.
Though, Win10 and Win7, still do support MBR fully, alongside GPT.

GNU/Linux distros (e.g Linux Mint) are also able to read MBR drives. So, 2nd option would be emulating GNU/Linux disto.
