Unable to open the Server service performance object. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the status code.

So I was having trouble with my laptop and I went into event viewer to find these errors. Both of these errors there after every BSOD I have. I looked into it and I can't find anything on how to fix the Server service, but I'm on a laptop that isn't a server. And I can't find anything helpful about SCEP either. Can anyone help with this?

Update your post to include make and model laptop, full laptop hardware specs, and OS information.


What was the initial trouble that led you to Event Viewer and SCEP? You mentioned BSOD's but what was the laptop doing when the BSOD's occurred?

Look in Reliability History for similar errors/entries. Right clicking any given error will provide more information about the error. That information may or may not be helpful.
