Windows 8 Pro 64-bit
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 + Deep Cool Gammaxx GTE V2
Gigabyte B450 AORUS Elite
16GB XPG D30 3200 RAM
Palit NVIDIA GTX 960
Seasonic Focus GM650
3 Seagate HDD's, 500GB(Boot), 1TB, 320GB
5 Case fans
InWin 216 Jupiter 3J TG

When shutting down PC, case fans and CPU fan continue running even after gpu and hdd's power down. PC reboots after ~10 mins. Issue began on first day since replacing mobo, processor, RAM, and case. It's been 4 days since building.

Attempted fixes include:
Reinstalling all new drivers
Disabling hybridsleep
Disabling network adapter wake up
Disabling automatic restart on system failure
Disabling fast startup in power options

Fast boot in bios was already disabled by default

I'm only able to fully shut down PC via case power button.
The PC is functioning properly otherwise with no other issues.

Edit: Solved. I tried shutting down the PC with my headset unplugged from the USB port on the front panel. It works normally.

Try the following steps:
  • Force Shut Down
  • Disable fast startup (Can be done in control panel)
  • Repair Windows System Files (Open Command Prompt & type "sfc /scannow")
  • Try shutdown through Command Prompt (Input: shutdown /p and then press Enter.)
Hope this helps.

disable wake by USB, if you want to keep your headphones plugged and shut down properly.

find your headphone and untick "allow this device to wake the computer"
