Unable to write data to disk for D drive

I noticed it first when i tried re downloading Fallout 4 through steam and it kept saying Disk Write Error. Then i tried installing something with an actual installer and it just said: An error occured while unpacking: Unable to write data to disk!
Unarc.dll returned an error code: -11

i have no idea why its doing this, as i was able to install things yesterday and now i cant today. Im going to update my drivers and come back to this thread after that and hope someone knows a solution to this problem.

i have 300+ gbs left in the drive, and i checked it for system errors through properties(although im not sure how reliable that is) and it came up with nothing

forgive my ignorance but what do you mean by Disk Management? is that a window in HDTune?

I solved it, it was a matter of restarting my computer:/ thank you for trying to help me though
