Question undervolted laptop still reach 90+ degree when full load asus gl503vm hero edition

I just bought this new laptop around a month ago and since then my idle temp never reach below 55 and always above 90+ degree Celsius under full load. I've tried changing maximum processor state in the battery power option and it does decrease my temp under full load to around 80+ degree cel'sius but it quite decrease the performance in heavy games. I read guides about undervolting and try intel XTU to undervolt and i set its core value offset to -125 but it doesnt really decrease the temp under heavy load. am i missing something during undervolting ? can i somehow do something about this ? thanks in advance.

specs :

• CPU: Intel Core i7-7700HQ
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB GDDR5)
• Display: 15.6”, Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS
• Storage: 256GB SSD + 1000GB HDD
• RAM: 16GB DDR4, 2400 MHz

Also check in windows power settings and make sure it is not set on max performance.

I assume you mean the processor power management, I set it on 95% In the advanced power setting in battery power option

okay thanks for your input. by the way I cannot control my fan speed manually only two option which is turbo or auto are there some software I could use to manually control my fan speed? thanks
