Hi,
Before getting any further I would like to apologize for any spelling mistakes, I'm french and my english is everything except perfect :D. That being said here is my issue, I'm trying to undervolt my I7 7700k to make it run cooler but it seems that I can't manage to change the v-core. Once i've changed the v-core in the bios, I go back on windows and check the voltage on CPU-Z but it seems that whatever i'm setting the voltage to, It seems to not work because the voltage showed in CPU-Z and HWmonitor isn't the one set in the bios. Thank you in advance for your help !

Here is my rig :
I7 7700k @4.5
Asus Z270F STRIX
RTX 2080 TI
2X8 GSKILL Trident Z RGB @3200 mhz
750w Evga 80+Bronze

you have the jumper switched on right?
(edit: is there "internal PLL overvoltage" ?)
(edit2: also you can lower the thermals by adjusting the power phase control aka VRMs)
