hello friends, recently got a KFA2 gtx 1060 which went up to 82 degrees on full load in a computer case with an opened side door (oO). That was astounding after my gtx 660 going 71 max as i thought Pascal got cold chips, so i found some articles about undervolting and it worked stable at 1700mhz on 0.8v, going about 68 degrees max in a closed computer case, but the MSI Afterburner doesnt let me change it below 0.8v, and i wanna try it lower, is there any way to do it? Thanks :)

My bad I did not understand the question correctly. If you go to MSI Afterburner setting there should be and option to unlock voltage control. This in my case allows you to change the voltage to anything. They have this locked already to protect people from damaging their card. If this still does not help let me know.

You also might want to try using EVGA Precision its like MSI Afterburner but only works with GTX cards.

Hope this helps and get back to me soon :) 😀

MSI After burner requires you to unlock voltage control before you do any voltage changes and it in fact bottoms out at 0.8v for me as well on my 1050. I've tried Zotac software and same thing 0.8v.

kay tried precision but it doesnt go below 0.8v either and actually everytime i change the voltage there it instantly bumps back. As for afterburner, i didnt unlock voltage control there but it changes the voltage to 0.8 nevertheless using the graph, so no idea what that unlocking is supposed to do. Checking that box doesnt make it go below 0.8v either. this is max the graph displays

Correct I tried myself and you can not set the voltage any lower than that. Its just not possible.
