Going to do a build and need some feedback on it

a Asus P5K64 motherbord
2*2048MB DDR3 Corsair 1333MHz, CL9 ( 9-9-9-24 )
2 Saphire Radeon HD3870
700w powersuploy

Then the hard part
a Q9450 or Q6700 or Q6600 i cant seem to be able to chose and i hawe newer tried to overclock before

The DDR3 modules are not worth the extra cost by a long shot.
as for the CPU you would have to justify why you need four cores, because if you are not using more than two most of the time then the e8400 is the best bet.

i would get the q9450 if you plan to encode video because eventually software will come out that uses the sse4.1 instruction set that isn't on the q6600 or q6700. If you plan to overclock, any of the above are fine, just get a decent cpu cooler.

I have heard very negative reports on Saphire cards. Everything from fan failure to plain just not working.

Agree with the DDR3 being too much. The timing ATM on DDR3 are all wrong, when the manufacturing process matures the timings and the price will get better, then adopt DDR3. ATM DDR2 FTW.

What brand powersupply... not all PSUs of the same Wattage are equal.

If you do want a quad, and you're not into overclocking, get the Q9450. If you do overclock, the Q6700 is probably best - but they're all very good anyway.

+1 for the comment on DDR3

Tagan 700W is the powersuploy

And the motherbouard only suport DDR3 4 slots tot 8GB but i want the capabillity to hawe more grafic cards so i yust hawe to by a new and still be able to use the old as a secondery.

What brand on the HD3870 do you rekomend?

I was thinking of maby overclocking the processor to 3.0-3.1 would that be a problem whid the Q6600 and the orginal fan or what fan do you rekomend? And maby the Asus P5K64 supports "On the Fly" Automatic overclocking

Virtually any other brand. I personally use Gecube (I overclocked to 825/1136), but have heard positive things about the HIS. Asus and Gigabyte make single slot versions as well which are pretty good.

Personally I'd wait until the release of the 4870, which you can then decide to get the 4870 or get a very cheap 3870.
