Hi,

I built my first pc a while ago and it usually works fine. Every once in a while, however, it freezes up entirely (usually black screen and fast spinning fans) and I have to force a shut down and restart it. Can you help me out? I've tried many things:
  1. Uninstalled programms that I thought were the issues but I am now convinced it is random
  2. used different software to detect problems (none found)
  3. did 2 ram checks (windows and memtest86)
  4. updated drivers (manually and with driver booster 7)

My specs are:
Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 5 Wifi
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (AMD50 Gold Edition)
AMD Radeon RX 5700 from msi
G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 2x 8GB DDR4 3600 (F4)
Intel 660p Series M.2 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD with os
2tb refurbished hdd from WD
psu: CX650M from corsair
NZXT H500i case

I think it only freezes on low loads, I have usually no problems gaming, but it's a real pain while working. On startup, all 4 warning lights on my motherboard turn on.
I initially installed my RAM incorrectly, but it's in the right slots now. The event viewer tells me I have event 41 as critical error (Kernel-power).

Any help is appreciated, thanks

In BIOS I only have two choices for RAM speed profile1 (3600 MHz which the system won't start on and manually sets back after a few restarts) and the 2100MHz that it reset back to now. It also set back to an older bios. I had f50 and it reset to f30. Should i change that again?

I have installed the chipset drivers from AMD's website and I am using the latest GPU driver.

Idle CPU and GPU temperatures are between 40 and 50°C. Do you have a suggestion for benchmark programms?

This is how it was sold:
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C19D-16GVRB

Okay I'll try to go without hdd for a while
