Thanks!

Nice results and as expected the NVIDIA cards does a little bit better in Unigine Valley compared to AMD.

Could you please use the posting format outlined in the beginning of the thread as it makes it much easier to get an overview of how the hardware that produced the score was configured! The format is as follows:

[Username] - [CPU @ Speed in GHz] - [Type of GPU(s) @ Core Speed / Memory Speed] - [Average FPS] - [Score]
[Screenshot of in Bench with Settings]

You got the screenshots right, now you just need the other part! 😀

I would be looking at any thermal or voltage throttling and how the new NVidia gpu boost 3.0 works ??

then why is your scores changing from extreme hd to ultra ??? I got all my presets set to ultra [cause theres no extreme hd setting ] but my scores all ways show extreme hd ?

Valley is extremely CPU bound, especially with more powerful hardware. If you want higher scores in Valley, you have to overclock the processor as high as possible....even then, you'll probably still see a bottleneck.

Valley just isn't a good GPU benchmark any longer. Check your FS graphics scores against a 970s graphics scores, and you'll feel a lot better about your purchase. I promise ya.

Kind of....as the GPUs become more powerful, the processor comes into play more. The best systems for Valley runs, are dual core processors with extremely high core clocks. lol

I got a clean double on this benchmark going from an HD7950 to an R9 390, while still on the same i5 760 @ 3.4GHz.

i would imagine it is close to double depending on the frequencies.

Yeah I had similar experience going from 680 to 780.

I think Valley is just due an update to be honest.
