Unindentified netowrk without router

If i disconnect my router and connect to network trough the modem only Windows 7 Ultiumate 64 says that it's unindentified. With the router my network works fine. What can i do to make it work again without the router?

That it is an unindentified network doesn't automatically mean, it doesn't work. We need to know a bit more about your network service provider to help you.

Well, the ISP is "RDS & RCS" ( probably you haven't heared of it, it's from Romania ), through cable.

I went there on the first time. I tried to troubleshoot, disable/enable, switch ethernet cables.. but nothing!

You should call your ISP tech support.

Also you can right click you 'Local Area Connection' click properties > highlight 'Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)' select Properties

Make sure you IP address and DNS server address automatically obtain. Make note of IP and the DNS addresses if listed for later use.

I still recommend calling your ISP.
