uninstalling program as administrator

Does anyone know how I can delete a program that wont delete bt says only an administrator can delete this program?

What program is it? If you only user on PC there are only certain programs that may not let you remove them and all of those would be parts of windows itself.

Have you tried Malwarebytes?

A program or a single file? If you're running an uninstaller, right click on it, and select 'run as administrator'. If it's a single file/folder, right click > properties. Select the security tab, then hit advanced. On the new windows that comes up, select 'change' next to 'owner', enter your username (should be the same as the folder name at "C:\users\<your user name>", and hit 'check names'. Then hit ok > ok > ok. You should now hopefully be able to delete it.

Then you log on with an admin account and delete it.

You can try Revo uninstaller. It's very good at rooting out misconfigured stuff, and you can run it as Administrator.
