That's an awesome find. Thanks! I might have to take off my TRUE and give that a shot on the S-1283 that's been in the closet for a couple of weeks.
 
Just edited my last mess. for the bolt thru kit. These really make the install so much easier. My buddy had to return his first Xig because it quit working, I wasn't there before he RMAed it, he just said he thought the fan stopped working. ??? First problem I've heard of with these. He's really satisfied with the replacement though. About the only thing you need to make sure your case is 8" wide, it's a tall cooler.
 


If I give my Xig another shot I'll use my Scythe S-Flex SFF21-F fan on it and see what 28db of 63cfm at 1600rpm has to say about the situation. I really should just lap my TRUE...I'm lazy.
 
Problem with the Xigmatek is it's bare copper base. It will be prone to oxidization, and silicon based thermal paste will speed it up or something. Anyhow, it's not recommended to use silicon based thermal paste, which ironically Xigmatek supplies the cooler with.
