Unlocking a athlon x2 7850

Hello,
I feel like my system is getting outdated.
I have the Athlon 7750 black edition on a N68-S
There are bios updates,but they don't seem to mention unlocking this cpu. I may just buy a decent am3+ board ,since building a comp is easy anyway. I wanted to see if i could unlock this chip easily or may by its just a waste of time.

It's a waste of time..... It's the first gen of the lot. It didn't have the unlocking feature then. The cores were usually just cut off then.
