Unsafe to transport PC

Hi people,
I will travel for US for one month and i have a plan of build a pc.
I will build it there in US and pack it all built in the pc case in my package but i dont know if it will broke inside or a component.
What do you recomend?

Buy it
Assemble it
Put in the box the case came in
Mail it back home

But...if you're adding a large air cooler, you might want to wait until it gets home to put that on. Same if there is a large, heavy GPU.

Other than that...the box the case came in will be fine. PC's are shipped, fully assembled, all around the work every day.

So... Can i assemble it and store it in my suitcase?
It wont brake?
I cant mail it home, i will buy the components there and put them im my suitcase.

If you are travelling by air and plan to put the PC in the suitcase then you need to rethink your plan.

I immediately pictured what happened to this fellow and United http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YGc4zOqozo.

If you are not personally handling that suitcase all the way then go to plan B.

I received my new PC via courier from the builder with the GPU shipped uninstalled to aviod strain on the MB. It was well packaged in the original PC case packaging

Airport baggage handlers are not known for their gentleness.
 


So true. I regularly seem them actually THROWING baggage on and off the plane.

What about sending it? The problem is that the company that ship things from US to my country is in miami and i will stay in new york
