Hello everyone, I have never asked for help like this before so I will try and put as much information in this message as possible but please bare with me if I miss something simple. (like using the wrong thread)

I have recently updated my PC from an Intel i5 4 core mini ATX motherboard with an Nvidia N760 GPU and a 360w PSU

To a standard ATX model AX370 with a Ryzen 7 chip (8 core), an Nvidia GTX 1050Ti GPU and an EVGA 750w PSU

Now I'm not the most computer savvy person in the world but when I can I like to tinker and learn. I thought that the rig I have built was a better one in almost every way. However when I come to run assassins creed origins I get abysmal frame rates and an unplayable game I have a benchmark screen shot if that helps.
Why would this have happened? any help is greatly appreciated I have done all I can think of (updating every driver I have and a clean install) thank you in advance for your time.

Your new GPU is extremely close in performance to your old one. Under AC origins you'll need to crank down the settings.

Core i5 is meaningless. There are a lot of different core i5 models. If it is an overclockable model we'd also need to clock rate. Same goes with the Ryzen. Although AC Origins should perform better on most Ryzen 7 over i5.

Thank you for getting back so quickly. I will try more information, in full the old CPU was Intel i5-4590 @ 3.30GHz (4CPUs), ~3.3GHz
On the old system AC was running on high quality but has now shifted to low, that is what I do not understand

The new CPU; Ryzen 7 1700 (16 CPUs), ~3.0GHz

Additionally; GPU boost clock 1443MHz
Memory clock 7008MHz
( I am new to this clocking business, I understand the concept of overclocking but haven't bothered and at the moment these are just numbers to me)

Yes it was a clean install of Win 10, I bought a new 2T HDD by Western digital. The drivers for the motherboard I installed first but that was only from their CD provided. I then both downloaded Graphics drives and installed the drivers from the CD that came with the card.
I checked the Bios and it said its last update was recently.
I will install the Chipset drivers that you have suggested also.

Can you guess at a reason for the lack of performance? Except the GPU (which I thought was better than it was) Have I got a half-way decent system?

[Update] So I did some research and while downloading new chip-set drivers definitely helped (recommended). It turns out that having a swankey new processor did more harm than good relating to my GPU.
If the GPU isn't up to scratch or new enough, then the CPU will simply ask too much of it. ( Which is why AC was dropping frames everywhere) I'am getting the Nvidia GTX1070 and will report back on it's success/failure.
Though on paper the GPU is the problem.

Thank you to Velocityg4 for your initial help.
