earlier this week, my desktop auto updated to the newest windows 10 version. for some reason after that happened, my screen isnt recognizing an output from my graphics card, there is no sound, no boot up ( as far as i can tell, as there is no display), and nothing plugged into the usb either front or back of pc are even lighting up or turning on. worried that my motherboard might be fried. home built pc. msi zpower z97 motherboard. intell cpu i7 4790k radeon 290x graphics card

Solution
perhaps remove gpu and try the integrated graphics on the motherboard, see if you can get a picture

see if we can at least get into bios

on another PC, download the Win 10 media creation tool and make a Win 10 Installer on USB or DVD - if you have an internal drive, this would be a good option to avoid the USB problem. It is a boot disc if nothing else, only handy if we can get a picture.

Odd all the USB don't work, the black ones should still.

What power supply do you have? Could be its not giving parts enough power to run anything apart from fans.

Yeah. I did that 3 times and cleaned off all dust in the process. All the fans are running but the is still no display. I know all my peripherals work because I plugged them all into my laptop and they all lit up and functioned normally
