Question Updated Windows 11 - Now Laptop M.2 SSD not displaying in BIOS and does not boot to windows

I have an MSI GP66 Leopard, yesterday I went to restart and update Windows and now it only makes it to the BIOS, the m.2 drive doesn't display anywhere and I can't change any boot order settings to find it. I've switched it into the other slot and then back to the first and still nothing. I've also updated to the latest BIOS from the MSI site. As well as created a bootable win 11 usb to see if it would recognize in Windows.

Just looking for ideas to help figure this out. Possible settings to change in bios so it can tell. Is it possible this windows update bricked my ssd?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

If the BIOS doesn't see your boot drive then the drive has conked out. You will need to take the original SSD and see if it shows up on a known working motherboard(not laptop) and you're able to at least boot off of it. I'm leaning on you needing to replace the SSD(if you're out of warranty on the laptop).
