Here's what I'm trying to achieve:
I have files on my work p.c. that are constantly updated during working hours.
I want to transfer these files to a portable hard drive so I can do the work
at home knowing I have the updated files from work with me at all times. I
will be periodically updating the little portable with the files from the
work p.c. not adding anything else. Now these files are fairly large in
number so all I want to do is to copy the new updated files from my work p.c.
to the portable rather than the whole lot, which now takes too long... How do
I go about this...
I have heard little bits about briefcase but don't understand how I can do
what I want above, then there is sycronisation but will this take into
account the fact I only want to copy over new files..., so how does it know
what is new from the work p.c. and what is already on the portable... If
anyone can help I would be very grateful..
