Question UPDATING TO RYZEN 9 5900X INTO A A320M-HDV R4.0

Hi, I'm trying to update to a ryzen 9 5900x from a ryzen 5 2400. my motherboard is a A320m-hdv r4.0. I've updated to the latest bios, and I have also updated the chipset drivers but I'm still getting a black screen when I put in the new cpu. I'm kind of new to trying to update my own CPU so any pointers would be appreciated.

Is this black screen of yours means there are nothing at all? Are you still able to enter bios? I have similar problem too i think because i have same board

No gpu listed in specs.
The 5900x doesn't have integrated graphics as your current 2400g does.

If you do have a graphics card installed please up date your hardware info and make sure you have your cables hooked to the gpu not the motherboard.
