Hi, i need advice as i am not confident with comparisons on the net, i mean the comparisons doesnt include the whole system and only parts. so here is the system in question:
cpu: A8-9600
gpu: 1050ti
mobo: ASRock A320M-HDV
so the upgrade i intend to do is cpu but i don't know which would give the best performance? (pc is used to play ARK)(90% of the time)
anyway i'm not spending much as it is not my personal pc, so the choices i have is Ryzen3 1200 / 1300x or 2200g
also i found a 1600X for the same price but i don't think it is compatible with the motherboard..
Any help would be appreciated, thanx!

The 1400 has 8 cores so in that aspect is better, but in most current games wil the 1300X beat it,but then again not by that much, kinda depends on the game. For longevity might the 1400 be the better choice, think i would choose this one if for about the same price

The 1600X isn't supported since the TDP is 95watts which seems too much for that motherboard. No 95watt cpu's are supported at all.

The Ryzen 2200G will be a good choice, the 1300X as well if all are about the same price.Seems that at stock clocks the 1300X,since able to turbo,is the fastest of the three and since overclocking isn't possible maybe for speed the best choice. The 2200G is latest, also comes with an integrated gpu so in case your dedicated gpu might fail would you have back up.Might need to update the bios too make it work.Updating the bios on a Ryzen platform is always a good thing to do.Which one of these two is really your own choice, speed over integrated gpu.

Maybe you can find the Ryzen 1500X for the same price? This one even comes with it's own decent cooler which the 1600X doesn't.

thanx for the reply. and also the integrated graphics will never be used as i'd immediately replace a bad gpu. so performance wise, would the 2200g still be better than a 1200 or 1300X?
as for the 1500X, it is above the budget for cpu, i might be able to go 1400?

thanx for that video! when i look at the prices it seems i should go for the 1300X as here it is way cheaper than the 1400. & like i said, its not my pc so i'm not gona spend too much on it.
and seing as the 1200 / 1300X & 2200g is about the same price, the 1300X should be a massive upgrade from the A8-9600
