Upgrade CPU - Do I need a new cooler?

I'm replacing an AMD dual-core with a quad-core. Of course I'll need some CPU paste, but what about the cooler? Will this need to be upgraded as well?

Most dual core AMD CPUs are lower wattage than quad cores. So probably yes. But I can't say for sure w/o knowing the 2 CPUs in question.

It's sounding like I may need to upgrade. Sorry I'm a noob but what is the best resource to determine which cooler I'll need? Motherboard is:

That should be fine. It looks to be a retail version of the cooler AMD use to put on their 125W CPUs. The 860K is only a 95W CPU, so you even have room to OC.
