Hello.i have i5 4670.ddr3 1800.gtx 980 ti and i mainly game at 4k

Thinking of upgrading to i7 6700k with asus rog maximum viii with ddr4

Is it worth?will there be a noticeable performance in gaming?or i am better off getting a second gpu

I think for now your build is pretty decent. You should wait for pascal and see what it can do with what it's compatible etc..
Upgrading cpu you will see very small changes in fps but if you want cpu for rendering you should look for a 6 cores etc.
But if you really want for now you can do SLI.

Yeah Z chipsets generally have good SLI capability. (Assuming it's not mITX, then SLI goes right out the window, of course.)
