Hi. I can't afford a new build yet but my 460 is showing signs of imminent death. Been doing some research here in the forum and finding maybe the 750ti is a good match in terms of cost/performance/bottleneck but I wanted to get more opinions. Additional suggestions also welcome :) Here's my current setup:

mobo: ASUS M4N98TD EVO
cpu: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition
gpu: MSI N460GTX CYCLONE 1GD5/OC 1GB 256-Bit
mem: 8gb Patriot Signature DDR3 1600
psu: XFX XXX Edition 650W
Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit

It's been a stable/cool system and I've oc'd the cpu up to 3.4GHz on a ZALMAN CNPS9500A-LED 92mm cooler.

Thanks!

The 750Ti is alot of performance for the price. The new gtx950 is also shaping up to be quite the card too if your interested in a more powerful card that can run dx12 for not alot more. They seem to be running about $160 us and the 750ti is $100-140 depending on the exact card.

Thanks, the info on the 950 is super helpful. What I said about a new build may be moot though as shortly after posting this question the pc failed to boot, then failed to POST, now is a brick. Was playing witcher 3 just fine earlier the same day :(
