With this mediocre quality PSU, only good for office PC, keep the GPU you have.
Else-ways, besides new GPU, you're also looking towards new, good/great quality PSU. And depending on how beefy GPU you go with, you may need to buy new PSU regardless.

Since you didn't state budget, this will do fine:

You sure you posted the right link? Since kinda strange for you to post "MSI NVIDIA GTX 980 4GB Black & White", which is also "Currently Unavailable" on amazon. Though, GTX 980 is a bit better than GTX 1650.

Supposed to be from Amazon US, and i did check afterwards and it correctly linked it. That was on my phone but after a few more clicks my phone will redirect Amazon to Au site same as PC, it still lists the same card but in AU dollar. I hate this redirecting crap.

I didn't suggest 4060 because it's an pcie 4 8x card and it'll be running at pcie 3 8x with his computer. For OP - different if your rig supported pcie 4 because pcie 4 8x = pcie 3 16x speeds, 3060 is a 16x card. Price isn't much different though, it's hard to say really how much value they'd get from one vs the other. Definitely though, coming from a 1650 there wouldn't be too much complaining from either card :D

i think my corsair performs well.
Well, until it doesn't anymore. And chances of that happening are good.

Like i said, PSU build quality isn't there. Many people who are running Corsair CX/CX-F-series have faced random reboots and the like. That is all to do with PSU, where PSU replacement has fixed their issue.
But, your money and your PC. I guess you need to learn it the hard way.

That being said, for good 650W unit, up to RTX 4070 Super is suitable. RTX 4070 Ti and Ti Super do better with 750W unit. On AMD side, up to RX 7600 XT.

bro rtx 3060 spec indicated that 550 psu can handle 3060. mine is 650 corsair modular

Wattage does not mean quality. And PSU modularity even less so.

Are you one of those, who would use e.g: Apevia Signature 1050W PSU if you'd have RTX 4090?
pcpp: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/pF...ied-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-atx-sn1050w

Since it too is 80+ Bronze, modular and more wattage than suggested for GPU, just like your Corsair CXm unit is?

Also, i already said:
That being said, for good 650W unit, up to RTX 4070 Super is suitable.
Meaning that RTX 3060 falls below RTX 4070 Super. So does RTX 4070, RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060.

But if you want RTX 30-series GPU, then: RTX 3050, RTX 3060, RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070 will do all fine with good quality 650W PSU.

Keeping your PSU, I would say RX 6600xt/6650xt would be a great pairing, with that CPU. Your ram speed holds you back in gaming with faster GPU's.
