With this mediocre quality PSU, only good for office PC, keep the GPU you have.
Else-ways, besides new GPU, you're also looking towards new, good/great quality PSU. And depending on how beefy GPU you go with, you may need to buy new PSU regardless.

Since you didn't state budget, this will do fine:

You sure you posted the right link? Since kinda strange for you to post "MSI NVIDIA GTX 980 4GB Black & White", which is also "Currently Unavailable" on amazon. Though, GTX 980 is a bit better than GTX 1650.

Supposed to be from Amazon US, and i did check afterwards and it correctly linked it. That was on my phone but after a few more clicks my phone will redirect Amazon to Au site same as PC, it still lists the same card but in AU dollar. I hate this redirecting crap.

I didn't suggest 4060 because it's an pcie 4 8x card and it'll be running at pcie 3 8x with his computer. For OP - different if your rig supported pcie 4 because pcie 4 8x = pcie 3 16x speeds, 3060 is a 16x card. Price isn't much different though, it's hard to say really how much value they'd get from one vs the other. Definitely though, coming from a 1650 there wouldn't be too much complaining from either card :D

i think my corsair performs well.
Well, until it doesn't anymore. And chances of that happening are good.

Like i said, PSU build quality isn't there. Many people who are running Corsair CX/CX-F-series have faced random reboots and the like. That is all to do with PSU, where PSU replacement has fixed their issue.
But, your money and your PC. I guess you need to learn it the hard way.

That being said, for good 650W unit, up to RTX 4070 Super is suitable. RTX 4070 Ti and Ti Super do better with 750W unit. On AMD side, up to RX 7600 XT.

bro rtx 3060 spec indicated that 550 psu can handle 3060. mine is 650 corsair modular

Wattage does not mean quality. And PSU modularity even less so.

Are you one of those, who would use e.g: Apevia Signature 1050W PSU if you'd have RTX 4090?
pcpp: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/pF...ied-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-atx-sn1050w

Since it too is 80+ Bronze, modular and more wattage than suggested for GPU, just like your Corsair CXm unit is?

Also, i already said:

Meaning that RTX 3060 falls below RTX 4070 Super. So does RTX 4070, RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060.

But if you want RTX 30-series GPU, then: RTX 3050, RTX 3060, RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070 will do all fine with good quality 650W PSU.

Keeping your PSU, I would say RX 6600xt/6650xt would be a great pairing, with that CPU. Your ram speed holds you back in gaming with faster GPU's.

Agree with RX6600. Also if you’re not averse to older used cards, anything Nvidia 60-series should be good with 650W PSU (3060, 2060 super, 2060 etc). (Edit: xx60 cards)

I’m still running an RTX2060 Super in a B460 / 10700 system with an evga supernova 650 and it handles Baldurs Gate 3 at 4K/60 nicely. PSU was never the best, but it hasn’t blown up yet.

And yes Comet Lake was more or less stuck with 2400-2666 RAM (edit: on OP’s B460)

anything Nvidia 60-series be good with 650W PSU (3060, 2060 super, 2060 etc).
This naming of yours is confusing to many, since that logic encompasses: GeForce4 MX460, GTX 260, GTX 460, GTX 560, GTX 560 Ti, GTX 660, GTX 660 Ti, GTX 760, GTX 760 Ti, GTX 960, GTX 1060, GTX 1660, GTX 1660 Super, GTX 1660 Ti, RTX 2060, RTX 2060 Super, RTX 3060, RTX 3060 Ti, RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti.

Better to classify GPUs per architecture, e.g:
GTX 900-series = GTX 950 to GTX 980 Ti.
GTX 10-series = GTX 1050 to GTX 1080 Ti.
GTX 16-series = GTX 1630 to GTX 1660 Ti.
RTX 20-series = RTX 2060 to RTX 2080 Ti.
RTX 30-series = RTX 3050 to RTX 3090 Ti.
RTX 40-series = RTX 4060 to RTX 4090.

And this above is also the official naming scheme from Nvidia.
E.g RTX 30-series: https://www.nvidia.com/en-eu/geforce/graphics-cards/30-series/
Or GTX 900-series: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/900-series/

So, don't invent your own that is very confusing to everyone. :non:
Not to mention that it will interfere with upcoming RTX 60-series.

And yes Comet Lake was more or less stuck with 2400-2666 RAM.
That isn't true either. Z-series MoBo and you can look up to 4400 Mhz or so DDR4 RAM.

E.g i'm running much older, Skylake architecture chip and 3000 Mhz DDR4 RAM alongside with it, with 0 issues. Heck, i can even go up to 3600 Mhz RAM if i so desire, on a platform from 2015.
Or my 2nd build, running even older Haswell architecture chip. There, with my Z97 chipset MoBo, i can go up to 3300 Mhz RAM, and that with DDR3!
