I think the main difference was they add v pci e 5.0 support. I built a pc on a b650 board in December and I’m happy with it. Truthfully though if I were building another pc, I’d consider an a620 board for me. I don’t really overclock anymore as the new CPUs basically try to get most of the performance out of the box in the way they boost etc.
Recently saw a video where a guy from Australia was working with a 7800x3d on an a620 and was having success with it. But myself, I have the Asus tuf gaming b650 plus WiFi. Got it as part of a bundle. I’m getting anymore to where I just want the cheapest board that does the job. I think a lot of the modern boards are way too expensive. Honestly while my board is nice, had it not been in the bundle deal, I’d probably have opted for a cheaper one.
