Hello! Last month i started renovating my house and decided to sold my pc(+monitor). Now i need a pc and i don't know what to do since it's a bad time for buying . I use my pc for daily usage (internet surfing, youtube, movies, music), virtual box, packet tracer, online poker, maybe dual boot win+linux and cs go +some aaa games (read dead 2,ac odysey, tomb raider, metro, etc). I was thinking at 2 options :
1)Wait for Ryzen 4000 and buy i3 9100f with 8 gb, rx 570,ssd sata 3 250gb,400 - 450 ps(all sh) + monitor Lg 24MK430H (new) - all cost me around 375-300$
2)Go full upgrade with Ryzen 3600/3600x, 16g 3200mhz cl 16,ssd m2 250 or 500,rx 580 8g, tier 1 ps (all sh with warranty) + monitor Aoc 24g2u (new) - all cost me around 900-950$

Solution
Grab option 2...you can upgrade to Ryzen 4000 next year or whenever the need arises...just verify your chosen motherboard will support 4000 series.

The stopgap system, option 1, doesn't make much sense. Using Virtual Box with only 4c/4t will make things slow if you have more than 1 or 2 VMs running at a time. The 3600/X is a very good CPU and will last for quite a long time.
