Im kinda in a pickle, I can decide if i should upgrade my gtx 770 to a r9 390.
my gtx 770 is awesome, im going to be adding a few more monitors possibly just upgrading them to a 1440p setup (this wont happen till down the road)
but im wondering if i should get a r9 390, or wait till Polaris.

what do you think should wait for Polaris to upgrade?

BTW i will most likly sell my 770 if i upgrade.

Thanks in advance

NO NO AND NO. It isn't much of an upgrade. GTX 770 is an excellent card that will stay with you for a good long while. really long good while. Just save those $$$$$$ and buy a new one later on when you feel like it's over for the GTX 770 which won't happen for a really long while 😀

If can do it for an overall low cost it's worth it, if you're paying full price and can't sell your gpu for whatever reason probably not, don't forget to check out 970 deals also.

Note: My buddy went from a 770 to 780ti for $180 on evga b stock random deal (rarely avail) and enjoys the difference, but he didn't have to pay full price by any means.

I'd rather buy another cheap 770 and SLI them if I needed some performance and also had PSU to power it. R9 390 is sure future proof as hell and is a great card too but the performance increase is not that REALLY great.
