Question Upgrade my motherboard!

Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my Rog Strix B350-F Gaming motherboard. I have an AMD Ryzen 7 1700 which I want to upgrade to an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D.

The MB brands I'm looking at are Gigabyte and MSI. Oh, and I don't want a MB with built in WIFI as I already have a PCIe WIFI card.

What features precisely? And which processor would you want to run?

With a fully updated BIOS that B350-F Gaming board would work quite well for running a 5800X3D CPU for gaming. So upgrading it is really only a necessity if it lacks a specific feature you really need, or perhaps if you want to run a high core count CPU such as 5950X.

I'm wanting to get this CPU AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D but that is an AM5 socket. I wasn't thinking. 🤦‍♂️

I already upgraded my PSU to a be quiet Pure Power 12 M 850W ATX 3.0 and upgraded my GPU to a MSI Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super Ventus.
