[SOLVED] Upgrade or new PC 1080p 60fps

Current PC:

• i5 4590
• b85-g43 mb
• 8gb ddr3 ram
• r9 fury
• evga 750w 80+ bronze psu
• 250gb ssd
• 1tb HDD

Wanting to play any new mmorpgs coming out 1080p 60fps ultra.

Is there any point upgrading my current system or better to go with a completely new one?

If a new one, what components would I be looking at to achieve my performance goals?

Personally, I would say a new rig. You could reuse storage, at the very least, and if it is not very old, the PSU as well. Also the games in question matter. I know WoW Shadowlands is now recommending at least a 6700k, which I would say is quite accurate, after playing the beta, on a 3570k. All 4 cores were 80%-90% utilized. What kind of budget do you have?

If I was going to build new then I probably wouldn't want to spend any more than $2000 aus.

Keep in mind new AMD chips are to be announced this week, plus new GPU's are coming this month, so this could change, but for a build, if you cannot wait, I would do something like this.

Ok, so if I re use the psu and storage that gives me about an extra $320, which would allow me to get the 3070 when it comes out (about $800-850). Would the 10600k be a good match for the 3070? Or is it overkill for 1080p? Or we won't know till it comes out?

Or would I be better off getting the gold rated psu and will the m.2 drive be a lot faster than standard 2.5" ssd?
