Hi All,
About 6 years ago I mined this forum for great information about my current build. I didn't post then as the information was clear and solid. Many thanks for a build that has served well for 6 years! Here is what i have:
Gigabyte GA-P55-UD4P
I5 750 2.67 overclocked to 3.5
4 GB DDR3 1600 7-8-7-24
EVGA GTX 260 216 superclocked PCIe 2.0x16
This build has been rock solid, and only recently has shown age with the newer games. Running Windows 7, and sad to say my gaming is not as hard core as it used to be, but want to still run the newer stuff on decent fps. My question...should I scrap and start over, or can I get a couple more years with an upgrade to memory and GPU? I'd spend $200 to get a year or so...what do you all think?
