I have a prebuilt pc with the following specs and I want to know if I NEED to upgrade my PSU in order to use the Nvidia GTX 960. I'd prefer not to because I'm on a budget but I'd like to know.
I currently have a 460 watt power supply.
Dell's website says: 460W, optional 80 PLUS Bronze, 85% efficient (Don't exactly know what that means, the 85% efficent and 80 plus bronze.)
PC Model: Dell XPS 8700
Specs:
Processor: Intel i7 4790 3.6Ghz
Graphics card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 720 1GB DDR3 but I want to upgrade to the GTX 960
RAM: 12GB DDR3 (2x4GB, 2x2GB)
Hard drive: 1TB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive 6.0 Gb/s
Optical Drive: 16X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW), write to CD/DVD
If you have any other inquiries leave a message down below.
